More Info on the Position:
This is a Volunteer Training Program for trainees and associates that don’t qualify for the paid positions, or a paid position for those associates that do qualify. For either type of position you get to learn what private practice is like, the business side of private practice, hands on training performing psychotherapy with clients, weekly supervision, in-house trainings and workshops, ability to co-facilitate and learn how to run DBT Groups, ability to run any other group you are interested in running, and more. The duties include performing individual, family, couples, or child therapy. Therapists are to maintain a professional atmosphere and uphold all legal and ethical standards. Therapists will conduct assessments, create treatment plans, implement interventions and techniques, and maintain confidential client records.
