Our Telehealth Division prioritizes ethical and effective care. Before starting, we assess if telehealth is appropriate for your needs.
When Telehealth May Not Be Suitable:
Individual Therapy: Severe depression, suicidal ideation, delusions, or high emotionality.
Child Therapy: Difficulty ensuring a confidential setting.
Family/Couples Therapy: Challenges with small screens, distractions, or high conflict.
Confidentiality Concerns: Others present, background noise, or lack of privacy.
Location: Clients must be in California, as we are licensed only in this state.
Distractions/Substance Use: Being under the influence, multitasking, or not fully present can hinder effective therapy.
If telehealth is deemed appropriate, our therapists ensure a private, distraction-free environment to provide a seamless, in-person-like experience.
Please review our Telehealth Informed Consent and Agreement Form for more details.
